Lou Ella Paul, Age 86 of Springboro, OH, passed away peacefully in her sleep at 2 a.m. on June 12, 2016 at Avalon of Otterbein. She was born July 26, 1929 in Jennings, Louisiana, the oldest daughter of Dennis and Rose (Simon) Miller. As a young woman one of her passions was dancing. Later she devoted herself to motherhood and raising her children. She loved gardening, crocheting, socializing and spending time with family. A resident of Jefferson County for most of her adult life, she spent the last four years with her daughter in Ohio. She adapted well to the change in culture and climate, and developed many good friendships, while staying in touch with old friends and her family back home.
Lou Ella was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Debra Ann Thompson. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Hennigan and Donna Spray; her son Wade Paul; her sisters Del Kline, Joyce Rovira and Dee Evans. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, extended family, and many friends. A celebration of Lou Ella’s life was held privately with family. Cremation at www.newcomerdayton.com.
